Stereotactic Interstitial focal laser therapy for prostate cancer
 
The need for minimally invasive therapy requires the development and the implementation of new more precise technologies for ablation of the cancer areas within the prostate. at the university of Colorado hospital we performed the first case of treatment using this technology. the patient recovered with no urinary catheter and was able to go back to work within 48 hours.  However, the long term results of such technology remains undetermined and will require more study.  For more information
